A second collection of vampire stories with erotic lesbian themes from editor Pam Keesey. In her introduction Keesey invokes several mythic aspects of the Goddess and her relationship to vampire lore. The dark Hindu deity Kali, a bloodthirsty goddess with a necklace of skulls, is a fine example. Then there is Lilith, the seductress who according to legend was Adam's first wife, though she seemed to prefer the company of demon lovers. The introduction is at least as interesting as any of the stories. |

The newly transformed undead narrator of this story makes a living as a hairstylist in an all-night place that attracts the punk, S & M, adventurous types. The scissors and razors of her trade make it fairly easy to tap into a food supply without drawing too much attention. It's also a good place to meet a new lover. |
